Today the kids and I shared the afternoon with some delightful children, Emma, Kendall and Grant Luman.  The Luman parents are in Jiangxi Province completing the adoption of their new little girl, Mattie.  This has been an over two year wait, since the rules and regulations for adopting in China have changed recently.  The parents will be gone a total of 10 days to complete the process, and today we hosted their other three children for the afternoon.  (One of the single teachers on our staff is caring for them in the parents’ absence).    We shared lunch, played Wii, made a “Welcome Home” for Mattie, watched Little House on the Prairie and went for an afternoon walk to get ice cream.  What a joy to see God’s hand and timing in the addition of this adorable little girl to this precious family!The Luman’s new daughter and sister, Mattie.
