Megan goes to preschool three days a week on Mon/Wed and Fridays. She spends Tuesdays and Thursdays at home with me. Lately, she’s been spending most of those home days with her sweet friend, Keli Fagerland. Her mom, Tami, is one of my closest friends here in Tianjin. We let the girls trade houses on Tuesdays and Thursdays, since they love playing together. January 14th was one of those days. It happened to be Keli’s birthday. We went out to a playplace together (similar to Chuck-E-Cheeses, but a smaller scale), then Keli came over to play at our house.I put together a little teaparty for the girls. Notice the snacks they are having, almonds, banana chips, sliced apples, seaweed paper and salty sweet rice crackers. Not the normal tea party snacks that I would serve in America!
Seaweed papers are a favorite snack of Maddie and Megan’s. Rachel loves the rice crackers, they are especially tasty with peanut butter on top.
So cute, sweet; it must be nice to have such a good friend for Megan. What is seaweed paper like? Not sure I’d go for that.
